About me
Erin Russell (she/her) is a teacher of settler descent, living on southern Vancouver Island on unceded Coast Salish territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, and working on the Coast Salish territories of Scia'new/Beecher Bay, T'Sou-ke, and Nuu'chah'nulth Pacheedaht Nation. She currently works for Sooke School District #62 as the Elementary Curriculum Coordinator. She has a Master of Education in Critical Studies and is passionate about examining education systems through intersectional lenses and challenge status quo as well as her own practice through reflexive & reflective practice.
