Welcome to the Sched site for the Northwest Mathematics Conference!

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to adjust resources.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

In this workshop, we will look at what research has to say on this topic, and I will share some of my successes in implementing problem solving as a way to engage, motivate and support all learners. Attendees will participate in many of my favourite tasks to experience the "why" and the "how" behind implementing a problem solving lesson.
