Welcome to the Sched site for the Northwest Mathematics Conference!

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

How can leverage student thinking to move thinking forward? In this session, participants will look at how Number Talks can leverage student thinking and the strategies they bring as they become more efficient, flexible, and accurate mathematicians. We will look at what Number Talks is, how we can easily integrate it into our math class, discuss small tweaks to improve assessment, and extend the routine as we put students in the driver’s seat. Number Talks will change your practice! Join us and find out how and why.
