Welcome to the Sched site for the Northwest Mathematics Conference!

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Come find out insights on how using a proficiency based model of assessment has bolstered student engagement, achievement and self reflection in AP Calculus. Participants will also be able to get ideas on how the speaker's AP Calculus classes are structured to provide student success and reduce learning anxiety. A discussion around the usage of AP classroom as a tool to support both Calculus learning and Pre-Calculus re-learning will also take place. Come with an open mind and pick up pointers that you may be able to use in your own classroom.
