ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Using AVP Books in the High School Classroom

"Gone are the days when teachers would end their school day with a collegial chat, game of crib, or a refreshing beverage to unwind before heading home. Responsibilities continue to increase and affects time spent preparing for lessons.

Having a resource that fits the curriculum and enables a teacher to focus on teaching students rather than scrambling for resources is vital. Absolute Value Publications workbooks more than fill this void.

In this session we discuss strategies the AVP workbooks may be used he classroom. Participants will receive one complimentary copy of one of the five AVP BC Edition titles as long as supplies last."
