ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Public Math Pop-Up: Build Your Own Math Installation

In this workshop we will dream up, design, and install place-based math provocations. While this experience will be anchored in the place we are in together, Public Math design principles are easily applied anywhere. We may even take this session beyond the room. Enter with a desire to spark math curiosity in others; leave with ideas, inspiration, and tools to enact public math in your own community.
