ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Public Math Day: A How-to for Your Own Community

In September 2024 the St. Johns neighborhood in Portland will host its 4th annual Public Math Day. Learn how organizers brought businesses in this community together to create a place-based math event for families. We included math walks, math play, and math books read by local authors within our day. What elements could your own Public Math Day include? Leave with a playbook to design a delightful day of math for your own community.
