ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Building Number Sense in the Middle Years

Are you noticing that many of our students are coming to our math classes without that intrinsic sense of number that is usually developed in the early years? How do we move forward with the math concepts being taught in the middle years that are rooted in these foundational skills? Join Kim as she shares her experiences working as a LAT/Numeracy Support teacher and shares strategies and techniques that have worked for her. You will leave this workshop with some new practices and ideas that will help your students to build on the knowledge they currently have and to ensure that they see themselves as mathematicians at home, work and school.
