ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED in person - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Are you seeking a supplement or replacement for chapter tests? This session will provide examples of various investigative tasks designed to enable students of varying abilities to demonstrate a range of competencies using their math knowledge and concepts learned in class. These tasks align not only with the BC curriculum (Grades 8-12) content and competencies but also aim to uncover the beauty and practical applications of mathematics. Additionally, the speaker will share insights into the rationale and planning process behind designing these tasks as assessments, as well as how they contribute to building transferable skills.

This session is also running on Saturday, October 26th, 8:30-9:45 am.
