ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED in person - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

Storytelling in mathematics creates opportunities for children to connect math to their daily lives and the world around them through joyful learning experiences. During this session, examples from primary classrooms will be shared as students engage in problem solving, problem posing, and mathematical storytelling. Different starting points and materials to inspire students will be shared. The mathematical focus of the session will be on developing number concepts, computational fluency, and spatial reasoning.
