ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED in person - signing up in Sched does not guarantee you a spot in a session. However, planning your day in Sched really helps us anticipate any potential need to make room changes.

If you create a free account, you can plan and edit your schedule. You may wish to select more than one session in a timeslot as a backup, in case your first choice of session is full.

On the right side of the schedule you can filter by grade band. This will include the sessions which span more than one grade band. You may also wish to view the Schedule as Expanded.

About me

Daren Starnes taught mathematics and statistics for 30 years at the high school and college level. He remains an active member of the American Statistical Association and the International Association for Statistical Education. Daren served for 6 years on the ASA/NCTM Joint Committee on Curriculum in Statistics and Probability and is an author of two popular high school statistics texts and a college introductory statistics text. Daren has led hundreds of workshops for new and experienced statistics instructors, and has been heavily involved in the AP Statistics program since 1998.
