About me
Matteo Tamburini was born and raised in Pistoia, Italy, earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Washington and an MS in Mathematics from Western Washington University. He has been teaching Mathematics, and learning about colonialism, at Northwest Indian College (Xwlemi Elh > Tal > Nexw > Squl) for over a decade. With his colleagues and students at NWIC he has been developing place-based algebra curriculum. Outside of school, he spends his time being a husband, father, and Treinel in Capoeira Angola.
